Well, to quote.. Emile Zola, "The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work" Gardeners are artists...So my green thumb was only a dream until we bought 2.5 acres with room to garden and a dream of a chicken coop (free poop!) and a GREENHOUSE! No more veggie starts in my living room! What a wonderful respite at the end of my day. FREE (thank you craigslist) windows, and about $800 dollars in supplies. A TON of love and labor from my wonderful hubby (and myself, no bragging!) and voila! A crushed blue shale floor, 6 inches thick, with weed block fabric below... Costco steel shelving, and recycled 2x4, 4x4 + wire work tables. Repurposed steel sink cabinet with a springy hose... I could go on and on! No, I'm not spoiled... just loved! Check back later for my garden boxes. Can we say $15 bucks a piece? I'm a scrounger!
