Another Great Reason to Plant Parsley
comments (0) October 10th, 2011When the snow flies (and it will!) and you are planning your herb garden for next season, be kind and remember the butterflies. It's an amazing that the butterfly eggs will hatch out and immediately head for your parsley. The caterpillars will hang around for several days and eat until they're full. If you get down close and personal, you can actually watch them chomp. Kids love to watch! Plan ahead and plant enough for you and your future flying flowers. And keep it organic to keep them coming!
