QUESTION: Asparagus or Goa Beans

This year I am trying to grow Asparagus or Goa Beans. Got 12 of the seeds to germinate indoors and have since planted them in the garden. However, I can find little about how to grow them or how to use them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I know that it is not recommended for growth in the Northeast but as I live in Pennsylvania, this would be considered Mid-Atlantic. Also I know that they vine but mine simply seem to be sitting in the ground doing nothing. Thanks for consideration.
