Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds is known for its vast offerings of heirloom fruit, vegetable, herb and flower seeds. Now the company is known for its generous nature.

In response to the need for help to those affected by hurricanes throughout the Caribbean, Baker Creek is offering vegetable gardeners a rare opportunity. All proceeds from online seed sales will be donated to World Help to support relief efforts in Puerto Rico and other areas destroyed by the recent hurricanes.

"Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company may be located on a small farm near a small town in rural Missouri, but we are neither uninformed nor complacent about the devastation caused by hurricanes in other parts of the world," states the company's press release marked "Urgent."

This special seed offer means gardeners can order heirloom seeds for their gardens and know that 100% of sales will go to the effort to provide food, water and medicine to hard-hit areas.

To participate, place your seed order online through Friday, October 6, 2017.

In addition, if you know of individuals or families that have lost their gardens to the storms, Baker Creek is providing free home restart garden seed kits. Contact the company at seeds@rareseeds.com for details about the seed kit donation program.

As gardeners helping gardeners, the Baker Creek family hopes you'll purchase seeds and share this special offer through social media and with your family and friends.

After you try it, show it off to other members in the
