Raised Planter Bed

Photo: Photo by E.Cardwell

My wife had been asking to build a vegatable garden for quite some time. This is what I built her, I got a little carried away. She has planted corn, green onions, melon, tomatoes, parsley, and sunflowers. They are all thriving despite the 110+ temps. I have irrigation run to all the plants and a sunscreen material on the top of the pergola. The raised planter bed measures 8ft long, 6 1/2ft wide and 2ft high. With the overall height of the pergola 8ft tall.
