1 cup of herb cheese spread (see link below)
1 baguette, sliced
Chives, fennel, or dill sprigs
1 cucumber, sliced thin
Edible blooms such as chive blossoms, violets, Johnny-jump-ups, pansies, or nasturtiums
Makes 24 to 30 tea sandwiches
Spread the herb cheese on the slices of bread. Arrange the cucumber slices, herbs, and flowers on the sandwiches and serve. The canapés can be held in the refrigerator on trays, covered with waxed paper, for a few hours. Allow them to come to cool room temperature before serving.
