This is common thyme.

A few weeks ago, I started just a couple of seeds: parsley, thyme, peppers, and eggplants. Last year I started everything a little too early and they were all pretty leggy by the time warm weather came. I am getting really, really impatient!!

WesternNYGardener writes: I know what you mean, I am growing impatient too. What I do to aviod planting my seeds too early is not buy the supplies I need. It is so difficult though, seeing everything in the stores and nurseries and having to wait. Winters in Western NY are way too long.
