Potato is one of the first food crops I was successful growing. It is actually super simple if you start with a quality seed potato. It is so versatile that it can grow in row gardens, container gardens, and raised beds with generally no problem. These plants are usually super hardy and will grow pounds of potatoes with a little bit of special care. About three years ago, I grew just under 400 pounds of potatoes in a 4-ft. by 8-ft. raised bed. The best part is they have pretty little flowers in colors from white to purple, which add a little whimsy to the veggie garden. Check out the video and order some quality seed potatoes today. Good luck with your potato planting. - Patti
