I have been experimenting with growing vegetables in containers for a few years now, with mixed success. Two of my main problems have been letting them dry out when I go away and getting the organic fertilizer right.

This year I solved both problems with an automatic drip irrigation system. This system was done for under $200 bucks and took me about four hours. Now I can travel without having nightmares about my container veggie garden! Thanks-Patti
