Blueberries are a great berry to grow in your back yard or patio.  I've been growing mine for a few years and they have now begun to really produce.  In this video I talk about growing blueberries in my backyard.  Not only are they delicious, but they look great in my landscape.  Blueberries are also healthy snacks that kids love. Please watch my video and I hope you are inspired to grow your own blueberries.  Stay tuned for more blueberry videos in future posts.

Ruth writes: Blueberry bushes flower once a season, so you will have to wait until next year for a new crop. And yes, as the plant gets established, it should produce more.

Also, you might try a net to protect your berries from birds and deer.

Veeta writes: I planted a bush that had flowers and fruit in spring, and I got a handful of good berries (those the birds didn't get), but then it did not flower any more. (It seems to be thriving otherwise) Any thoughts?
I am guessing it will do better next year as it will be established.
