A classic Strawberry Smoothie is quick to prepare. It provides three servings of fruit all in one glass. Blackberries, raspberries, or another berries can be substituted for the strawberries, with equally tasty results.

Ingredients:
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
2 cups frozen strawberries (blackberries, raspberries, or any other berry can be substituted)
1 almost-ripe banana
1 to 2 Tbs. honey or fructose (according to the tartness of the berries)
1 scoop strawberry sorbet (optional)

1 serving

Begin by pulsing all ingredients in the blender to get any large pieces chopped up. Then blend until smooth.
