Hi everyone!  I have a compost tumbler, and yesterday when I opened it I was surprised to see the compost "moving"!!  Looking closer, the bin is full of worm-like creepies!  Could this be...I hate to even think it....maggots???  I've been very careful to only add veggie scraps, egg shells, and other compost friendly items.  Should I just let them wiggle away, or start over?  Thanks for any advice or experience you can share!  Happy Gardening all! :)

Since I can't see them first-hand, I can't say which ones exactly, but more than likely they aren't the maggots that you fear (flies). They're the decomposers you can see as opposed to the decomposers you can't see (micro-organisms like bacteria). They're exactly the tenants you'd like living in your compost - keep going!
