QUESTION: Cabbage

I am curious as to how much square footage and soil depth 1 cabbage plant requires. I planted Cairo Hybrid, the package directions mention 2-ft. spacing unless space saving variety, which I don't recall when ordering the seeds. I'm trying this out in my new 8'x8' greenhouse and only want 2 plants. Don't want to be overrun, also don't want to waste good sprouts. Help !
