I was challenged to add my gardening touch to my extended family's Christmas tree. They have a long history of family ornaments on their tree, so this was indeed an honor.

However, searching for a "gardening Christmas tree ornament" yielded few options. Those that I did find, however, were either sold out or too expensive ($30 for a 4" painted piece of plastic? Give me a break!)

Then, I thought, hmmm... what about searching for "miniature garden tools"? Bingo! I found several sites that sold miniature items for dollhouses, displays, etc.

I have answered the challenge to add my touch to this year's tree. So, if you have a green thumb on your Christmas list (if you are reading this, that might be YOU), there's a stocking stuffer idea for you.
