There are many things you can do to have an eco-friendly Christmas. In an effort to lessen my impact on the earth. I've chosen to use a live Christmas tree. After Christmas, I'll plant it and be able to enjoy it year after year outside.

Live trees can be pricey, but even if you're opting for a cut Christmas tree or a store-bought tree, there are still things you can do to be eco-friendly, such as making your own ornaments to trim the tree. You can also replace your old Christmas tree lights with LED lights They use less electricity and won't heat up when they're on. Please watch the video for all of this and more. Hopefully you will have an eco-friendly holiday season this year, too.

After you try it, show it off to other members in the
gardener's gallery.
