I would like to plant some potatoes and corn, however, from what I'm reading, I might be a little late:( Would I still be able to produce a crop if I planted this late? Would I be more successful if I used vegetable plants to start instead of seeds?

joe_massie writes: It depends on where you live and the type of corn. Are they an early season (55ish day) corn? Do you live in Maine or S. Carolina? Take your average frost date and subtract the number of days that the seed supplier says it needs and see what you come up with.
