Re: Try Soil Bag Planting for No-Dig Beds

I just found something that is perfect for this. At home depot they have a brand called Lakeland Natural and Organic that comes in bricks, 1 ft high by 2 ft long, instead of the normal flat bags. This makes a nice neat raised bed. My plan is to arrange them end to end, and then after I cut the holes, wrap with landscape cloth. The black cloth looks neater than the bare bag and will keep weeds out too. I have a friend who does this with strawberries, and the beds are usually good for at least 2 or 3 years.
