I have a certificate in landscape and nursery from Michigan State University and am an advanced master gardener. I am self-employed as a garden designer in Northern Michigan, and I am a freelance writer for Edible Grande Traverse, a member of Edible Communities.

Other interests - anything outdoors, including gardening,riding my Harley, sailing, running, rollerblading, hiking,skiing (all kinds), etc., plus cooking, reading, and volunteering for good causes.
