I use my juicer every day and whatever's left over in the juice bin gets composted; usually it's lots of kale, spinach, cucumbers, kale sprouts, broccoli, basil, cauliflower, and then whatever fruits I add, like apple, pear, pineapple, banana, kiwi and papaya. Usually I try and make my juice 80% veggies and 20% fruits.

My compost bin is a large plastic outdoor trashcan with a snap-on lid. I roll it once a week to mix the contents thoroughly, helping to break down the natural elements.

I've read that organic compost can naturally eliminate weeds. I haven't found that to be completely true but I love adding organic compost to my veggie garden at least once a month. Living in the subtropics in high temps means the compost bin will break down pretty darn fast.

And worms are the icing on the cake! :)
