Re: Seed Starting in Speedling Trays
I have used these trays every year since this article was first published in Kitchen Gardener. I love them. I support them on wood blocks over my tray under the grow lights. The roots really are ready for transplant. I use a thin plastic knife to loosen and lift the plant from the tray. Last year I cut one in half to make smaller trays.

I love chive blossoms. I cut the purple parts off the top over a salad. The blossom adds a touch of chive flavor. The purple is beautiful next to the green.
