While I was asleep, they went to work - and didn't even have the decency to yell "Timber!" So I awoke to find a few empty places in a promising stand of sunflower seedlings, young plants keeled over flat, severed at the base as cleanly as if it had been done with a micro-chainsaw. There's an easy fix.

I like using the Earthboxes

I've had good experiences over the past 10 yrs using the earthboxes. One main reason I like using them--no weeds to worry about :D This yr, I plan to try mushrooms in one and herbs in another e. box. My neighbors and bystanders like seeing how tall my beans will grow each yr from my front porch.
